Three proven self-hypnosis techniques that work for everyone!

Before we dive into these three self-hypnosis techniques, ask yourself “How would you like to let go of any stress or tension? How would you like to easily and effortlessly relax? How would you like to focus on what you want?”

We wonder how much you’ll want to do all of these things. That is why you should read on so you can achieve long-lasting success, create good habits, and set intentions that benefit you. This is all done using the power of your unconscious mind and a few self-hypnosis techniques that we’ll share.

1. People often ask does self-hypnosis really work? The answer is yes. Self-hypnosis works in so many ways and one of those ways is by doing an exercise for intention setting.

Intentions are similar to goals and are also different. They both are working towards what you want and both are something you set. The difference is that goals are often set out further into the future and intentions are for the present moment. The way to set intentions is to use the I am format like you are doing positive affirmations. Set a few intentions using this format and then picture yourself doing this in a crystal ball. When you set your intention do you have a picture? That’s right you do…imagine the picture bright, the sounds crystal clear, what do you feel and what are you saying to yourself. By doing this you can see how easily you can achieve this intention, right?

2. You’re probably wondering what is next…and that is the relaxation response. This is a really simple and easy technique. You follow only a few steps. It’s been around for quite some time and uses a mantra to remain focused and relaxed.

Go ahead and sit down in a comfortable position or lay down.

Close your eyes and really focus on your breathing.

Let the muscles around your eyes relax.

Imagine your feet relaxing and create this relaxation starting from your feet up to your head. Do this for a few minutes until you have a good state of relaxation.

Continue this state of relaxation and with each breath through the nose and out the mouth filling it up all the way through your chest and lungs to your stomach. Say one as a mantra.

Each breath for 5-10 minutes say one.

After 5-10 minutes (there is no need for an alarm) open your eyes, feeling refreshed and sitting for a few minutes enjoying the relaxation you created. You can see yourself relaxing every day, right?

3. The last technique is the big white puffy cloud.

Imagine a place outside that you have been to, you want to go, or a place you create this is a place of serenity that has positive emotions.

Look up in the sky and notice a big white puffy cloud. This represents any stress or tension in your body. Any doubts or worries and any anxiety or really anything you want to let go.

With each breath in and out, breathing in through your nose all the way through your chest and lungs filling up your stomach and breathing out the big white puffy cloud drifts way and so does your stress or tension.

Breathe in and out for a few minutes and notice the cloud has drifted all the way out of the place you have created and you are seeing a beautiful place, hearing soothing sounds, feeling calm, and telling yourself you are relaxed.
